This simple primitive style ragged window valance is incredibly easy to make.  You can change the look dramatically by simply changing the fabrics used.  We sold these window valances at craft shows for years and people absolutely loved them. This pattern is super simple and would be ideal for a beginner level crafter.    Finished size of the valance is approximately 12" x 44".

Included in this pattern are pattern pieces, detailed instructions including instructions for simple ragging of the edges and lots of step by step pictures to guide you. 

Homespun fabric is great to craft and sew with because the yard dyed fabric is the same on both sides.  There is no front or back.  Use your leftover homespun scraps to create matching tree ornaments or tie homespun fabric strips to decorate a light string as shown in this homespun craft project idea.

All fabric sold on this website is flammable and does not meet the standard for flammability of children's sleepwear.

Fabrics products are priced by the yard except for the fat quarters and charm packs. Multiple yards will be cut in one continuous length. Charm packs may occasionally have substitutions of one or two fabrics with a really similar fabric. Charm pack sizes are approximate and may vary by 1/8".

All fabric colors will vary slightly with the bolt and the dye lot. Please order what you think you will need for your project at one time.

All orders are shipped via US Postal Service First Class or Priority Mail with delivery confirmation and proof of mailing. These fabrics are kept in stock but if something does have to be backordered, you will be notified quickly. Shipping charges are calculated in the shopping cart based on weight and destination.

International orders may be placed from this shopping cart but there is no tracking for international deliveries. JubileeFabric.com and Jubilee Creative Studio, LLC are not responsible for orders once they have been placed with the postal service with appropriate documentation. International shipments sometimes move very quickly but sometimes they can take up to 4 weeks or more. Buyers are responsible for any customs or taxes due in the own countries.
