This Holly Berry stocking design offers a simple basic stocking embellished with holly leaf appliques and buttons as holly berries. Each stocking uses only 1/3 yard of fabric for the outer stocking fabric and 1/3 yard for the liner fabric. A cute set of stockings could easily be made with your remnant stash or coordinate your fabrics for a mix 'n match set. The mix 'n match stockings pictured in our images above was created using the various Cherry Red homespun fabrics.
Holly isn't your thing? No problem! This stocking pattern is a great "basic" design that you can embellish in any way. Use the simple design as a foundation and create your own unique stockings.
