Your favorite little girl will look adorable dancing around in this rag style tiered skirt. The Li'l Dumpling rag skirt pattern is very flexible and adaptable. The pattern instructions are for three sizes: Small (girls size 2/3), Medium (girls size 4/5), and Large (girls size 6). Larger sizes could be easily created by adding more tiers and adding width to each tier.
This pattern is easy level and can be completed very quickly. The skirt shown in our images here was made using an assortment of red fabrics. Homespun fabric or a loosely woven fabric that frays well is recommended for this project. Printed cottons and traditional quilting cottons do not fray well and are not recommended for this project.
Included in the pattern are instructions for cutting the appropriate sized skirt, detailed assembly instructions (including instructions for simple ragging of the edges), and lots of step-by-step pictures to guide you.
Homespun fabric is great to craft and sew with because the yard dyed fabric is the same on both sides. There is no front or back. Use your leftover homespun scraps to create new craft projects or embellish your existing crafts with torn homespun bows and ribbons.
How to download a digital pattern after you complete the checkout process:

- Log into the website and click on the account icon at the top right of the page. This will take you to a list of your orders.
- Click on your most recent order #. On that order page, you will see the details of your order.
- There will be an arrow symbol next to each downloadable product. Click on the arrow to download.
- "Save" the pattern to a safe place on your computer where you can easily view it again.
