This quilt kit includes the printed Ragged Snowman Quilt pattern and all the necessary homespun fabrics to create this primitive style quilt. Not included is the batting and the thread.
The fabrics are measured according to the fabric requirements on the back of the pattern and total over 15 yards of fabric. The individual pattern pieces are not precut. The finished quilt will have twelve panels and will be approximately 54" by 80".
The fabrics included in this Ragged Snowman Quilt Kit will be similar to the ones shown in the images but plaids and colors will vary. The dominating colors of the kit will always be dark red and green.
Rag style stitching is super easy and is especially suited for beginners. The frayed edges are created by clipping the seam allowances and then machine washing. Use 100% cotton homespun or yarn dyed fabric to maximize the fluffy frayed edges.
