This unique quilt design was created especially for the football stadium! At approximately 52" x 75" it’s the perfect size to wrap up one or two people and keep you comfortable on those cold bleachers. The design will display your team colors and the optional logo insert (from your favorite t-shirt) can customize it especially for your team.
The sample quilt done in this pattern was created using our Liberty Red homespun plaids for the dominant color. By doing the lower triangles in a darker solid color, it makes the red triangles look like a sports pennant banner. The triangles are done with a finished (not ragged) seam to keep the lines crisp. The gray stripes separating the triangle rows are done in our signature rag style. Also shown in the images is a quilt done in green and black without the logo insert.
This quilt can be completed either with or without the logo insert. Instructions are included both ways. Because of the complexity of the design and the various shapes, this quilt is rated a medium skill level. Previous experience with rag stitching is recommended. Included in this ebook pattern is a materials list, detailed instructions, printable templates and, of course, lots of full color pictures to guide and encourage you. Enjoy!
