The Medallion Rag Quilt design allows you to easily express your creativity by customizing the appearance of the center medallion section. This pattern includes instructions and templates for the compass star as shown in the images. If you choose to customize the center medallion, you can applique your favorite quilt block design, applique hearts or shapes or add embroidery as shown in the example images. (embroidery patterns not included)
The example images show the quilt done in Twilight blues with the included compass star applique and also in Magnolia grays with a customized embroidered monogram. This pattern will provide the framework for you to create any number of beautiful and unique quilts. If you wish to do this design without the batting, it is equally nice as a simple light weight throw instead of a quilt.
This pattern is easy level but not recommended for a first time project. Included in this ebook pattern is a materials list, detailed instructions, printable templates for the compass star and of course, lots of full color pictures to guide and encourage you. Enjoy!
