This Patchwork Placemat pattern is designed with a finished patchwork panel on the front done in traditional quilt assembly and then rag style on the outer edges for simplicity. This can be done in four coordinating fabrics like the samples shown here or you can create your own color/fabric layout design. This is a great way to use up your small homespun remnants in a random color/fabric mix! The pattern materials list includes fabric to make four of these place mats.
