This casual rag style bag is unique and has lots of creative style. The braided straps are reinforced so they won't stretch with use. There is an inner pocket sized for cell phone or sunglasses and placed for easy access. The Gracie bag has a bit of elastic at the top to keep your items securely tucked inside. Drapery grommets are used to define the strap holes.
The example images show the bag done in our Magnolia Gray and also in Primitive Red. The materials list calls for one 6" homespun charm pack but you could easily do a really cute bag with homespun scraps cut into 6" squares. This pattern will provide the framework for you to create beautiful and unique bags with the fabric of your choice.
This pattern is easy level but not recommended for a first time project. Included in this ebook pattern is a materials list, detailed instructions, printable templates for the handle hole and, of course, lots of full color pictures to guide and encourage you. Enjoy!
