The Rag Style Wedding Ring design allows you to replicate your grandmother's vintage quilts with easy homespun rag appliques. This digital download includes instructions and printable pattern pieces. The instructions will make a throw that is approximately 52" x 70", but you can make the throw larger/smaller by adding/omitting squares.
If you wish to do this design with batting to make it a proper "quilt", you will need to add a layer of batting between the background squares. Each batting square should be cut about 2" smaller than the fabric squares.
This pattern is intermediate level but not recommended for a first time project. Included in this PDF pattern is a materials list, detailed instructions, printable templates for the wedding ring design and lots of full color pictures to guide and encourage you. Enjoy!
