This is an incredibly fun project that uses a pair of adult size used denim jeans and 1-1.5 yards of homespun fabric. Each Bible or book cover uses 1 leg of the denim so two covers can be made from one pair of jeans. The instructions are based on the measurements of your own Bible/book so it can be easily created to fit any size.
Included in this pattern are instructions and materials lists for three embellishment options shown in the pictures. But once you make one of these and see how easy they are, you will want to get creative with your own embellishment ideas. There is no limit to how unique and creative these covers can be with your own imagination. You will likely find yourself making covers for every Bible in your house!
This pattern is easy/medium level. Included in this ebook pattern are detailed instructions including directions for simple ragging of the edges and tons of full color pictures to guide and encourage you. Enjoy!
