What is more precious than a little girl in a soft, ragged homespun dress? This dress is a simple construction style with buttons in the back for closure. The bloomers have elastic at the waist and legs and the headband is elastic. The download includes cut out pattern pieces for sizes 6 month, 12 month, 18 month and 2T. Also include are detailed assembly instructions including the simple ragging of the edges and lots of step by step pictures to guide you.
This pattern is easy level and can be completed very quickly with just basic sewing skills. Homespun fabric or a loosely woven fabric that frays well is recommended for this project. Printed cottons and traditional quilting cottons do not fray well and are not recommended for this project. Homespun fabric is great to craft and sew with because the yard dyed fabric is the same on both sides. There is no front or back which gives you a lot of freedom in your crafting and sewing projects.

**It is recommended that you use cotton homespun fabric for any rag stitching project. Regular quilting
cotton or printed cotton will not fray as well. Remember that yarn dyed homespun fabric has no front or back side.
